Sweatt, and W.R. merged his business with Mark HONEYWELL, who was making water heater generators (since 1906) and in the grand ol’ year of 1927, these two companies became one - The Minneapolis-HONEYWELL Regulator Co.

The business became the largest producer of high-quality jeweled clocks. W.R. Sweatt became Chairman and Mark Honeywell became President. The company quickly grew as it began to tackle more challenges including industrial controls and indicators.
